| Purpose and eligible persons |
Purposes approved by SIDBI under its schemes shall be granted to educated (not below SSLC) unemployed women residing within Chennai Corporation limits who propose to set-up small production / manufacturing / service units in the areas of activities listed below. They should have undergone training successfully in their respective areas from District Industries Centre or any other State Government Departments / Undertakings:
- Beauty Parlour / Cosmetology
- DTP
- Plastic Injection Moulding
- Fast Food
- Bakery Products
- Fashion / Design
- Interior Decoration
- Repairing of electronic components
- Internet Browsing Centres
- Food Processing Units
- Any other purpose approved by SIDBI
